Complete Fuerteventura Tour
Sail in a ferry on the Atlantic Ocean and discover the amazing landscapes, dunes, and beaches of Fuerteventura on this excursion.
Complete Fuerteventura Tour
Picking you up from the area closest to your hotel, we'll make our way to the Playa Blanca port. From this dock, situated in the South of Lanzarote we'll take the Fred Olsen Express ferry to Fuerteventura. After a brief journey of only 30 minutes, we'll disembark at the Corralejo port, in the north of the island.
Once we disembark, we'll get on an air-conditioned bus to make our guided tour of the island of Fuerteventura. Passing through the volcanic landscape of Malpaís de La Arena we make our way to La Oliva. In the outskirts of this town, we'll visit an Aloe Vera farm, getting to know the properties of this natural product, used to make cosmetics, medicines, and decorations.
Our route continues as you admire the views of the Tindaya mountain, a sacred place for the Guanche aboriginal peoples who inhabited Fuerteventura before Spanish colonization. The area around this natural monument equally is home to a variety of archaeological remains and stone carvings of great historical interest.
After that, we'll head southwards to see the historic town of Betancuria. In this old capital of Fuerteventura, we'll see its most representative buildings, such as the Nuestra Señora de la Peña Hermitage whose interior houses the image of the patron saint of Fuerteventura.
We leave Betancuria and cross the interior of the island, quickly arriving at the Santa Ines Valley, where we'll have free time to eat lunch. With our energy recovered, we hit the road northwards where one of the most recognizable points of Fuerteventura waits for us: the dunes of the Corralejo Natural Park. These mountains of golden sand make for some spectacular beaches where you can try sports such as kitesurfing.
In the evening we take the ferry back to Lanzarote, where a bus will be waiting for us to take us back to the hotels.
