Opening times in Lanzarote vary depending whether you're in a touristy area or a local town. In popular holiday destinations like Arrecife and Puerto del Carmen, you'll find shops are open from 10 am to 10 pm. The island's main shopping centres are also open on Sundays and some holidays.
In smaller towns like San Bartolomé, Haría and Teguise, most shops have split hours, so they usually open between 10 am and 1:30 pm to 2 pm, close for lunch and then reopen between 4 pm and 8 pm.
Restaurants
Restaurants in Lanzarote usually open in line with European customs, especially in more touristy areas. This means that lunch is usually served between 12 pm and 3 pm and dinner between 6 pm and 9 pm. Having said that, most places will serve food until later to suit the tastes of locals and visitors alike.
