North Lanzarote Excursion
Discover the North of Lanzarote with this guided tour, an area full of captivating sights such as the Jameos del Agua, one of César Manrique's works.
North Lanzarote Excursion
Early in the morning, we'll pick you up at your hotel and head to the north of Lanzarote.
The first stop will be in the municipality of Mozaga, where we'll pass by the Monumento al Campesino, a piece by local artist César Manrique, which pays homage to the rural world.
We'll continue the route traveling to the Cueva de los Verdes, the longest lava tunnel in the world. We'll learn all about the volcanic nature of this famous cave as we head deep into the earth - it'll have you mesmerized from the moment we arrive!
Nearby we can also find the Jameos del Agua, the first work created by Manrique and where we'll see a unique and endemic species of crabs, known for being blind, albino and less than one centimeter. After admiring the Jameo Grande, we'll visit the swimming pool surrounded by typical Canarian palm trees and a great diversity of cacti.
From here, we'll return to the hotel areas after six hours of excursion.
